Delonnie Hunt Signs with Germany’s MBC
Fresh off an outstanding season with KK Dinamo in Zagreb, Croatia, Delonnie Hunt is moving “up” the ranks and has signed with Germany’s MBC, playing in the first-tier German Bundesliga.
“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to play for MBC in Germany,” said Delonnie. “Just want to thank my representation, everyone that has vouched for me, each coach that has reached out to me, and my family for keeping me calm and ready. I’m super excited to get back to Europe, build with my new teammates and create an unforgettable season!”
Delonnie averaged 21.5 points per game in the European North Basketball League last year with the Dinamo. The team played in both the European League and the Croatian Premier League. In the European games, Delonnie added 6.5 assists and 1.6 steals per contest, while shooting 56% from the floor and 40% from three.
In the Croatian Premier League, Delonnie averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals, catching the attention of other coaches in Europe.
Chandler Cuthrell Signs with Finnish Champion
Chandler Cuthrell, who had an outstanding final season at Elon, has signed with Karhu Basket for the 2026-27 season, and will begin his professional career in Korisliiga, the highest level of basketball in Finland. Based in Kauhajoki, Karhu Basket is a three-time Finnish champion, most recently winning the Korisliiga title in 2022.
“I’m extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to begin my professional career in Europe,” said Chandler. “This moment means a lot to me because my father also started his professional career in Finland and I’m proud to say that I’m following in his footsteps while creating my own journey. Everything I’ve been through has prepared me for this opportunity. I’m excited to compete at a high level, experience a new culture and continue growing as a player and as a person. I’m ready to work and give everything I have to my team and represent my family the right way. This is just the beginning and I’m looking forward to making the most of this opportunity.”
Cuthrell, a 6’8” forward, played one season at Elon, earning All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Second Team honors after averaging 19.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while starting all 32 contests. He also averaged 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 48.7% from the field.
The Baltimore, Maryland, native scored 632 points, setting an Elon NCAA Division I single-season record and tying for the seventh-highest total in program history. Cuthrell also became the first Elon player in the program’s Division I era to average more than 19 points per game in a season.
Brian Crawford Continues Impacting Lives

Some call him “iconic;” others call him “coach,” “mentor,” or simply “the man.”
For more than 40 years, Brian Crawford has been helping young athletes in Newark through the Newark Rams Athletic Program…as a coach…through high school clinics…and working behind-the-scenes to mentor and train coaches and athletes.
Whether it was Kyrie Irving, Troy Murphy, Mark Bryant or countless others who worked with or played for Brian, all view him with tremendous respect. A regular at Rutgers’ men’s basketball games, visiting coaches seek him out after games, asking about new talented players coming up through NJ high schools.
“What do I enjoy?” asks Brian. “When I see the guys I’ve helped in Jersey graduate from school, get drafted, have families, when they move forward with their lives. Those are big moments for me.”
And it’s not just happening in New Jersey. With former NBA assistant coach Tim Grgurich, he started – four years ago – what the two coaches call “The Breakfast Club” during the NBA’s summer league in Las Vegas. That first year, four players showed up for the sessions on five mornings at 6 a.m. This year, there were more than 60. “It got too crowded,” said Brian with a smile.
