Santiago and Rosa Cap Historic Careers, Garry Clark Signs for Pro Representation, Okert’s Strong Start

Santiago and Rosa Cap Historic Careers

What a season for Mason Santiago and Richie Rosa, who just wrapped up their senior year at Saint Peter’s Prep with another championship run.

The duo helped lead the Marauders to their fourth straight Hudson County Championship, a first for the school, cementing one of the most successful stretches in program history.

On the court, Rosa earned major postseason recognition, including being named Hudson County Player of the Year, along with 1st Team All-State and 1st Team Non-Public honors.

Santiago was also recognized for his standout senior season, earning All-Conference First Team honors and a Second Team All-State selection.

Off the court, the two have built their own clothing line, Boricua Guards, celebrating the legacy and future of Puerto Rican basketball.

Mason and Richie were also recently recognized by the Latino Action Network (LAN) for their leadership and impact, honoring their influence as Puerto Rican athletes and role models in the community.

Next up: Richie will continue his career at Rider University, while Mason will head to Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City.

Garry Clark Signs for Pro Representation

Garry Clark, a 6’9” power forward from St. Louis, has signed with the IPZ/Endurance Management/Players Group affiliation for professional basketball representation.

Garry, who earned his MBA from Utah State this semester, played in 36 games this past season, averaging 6.9 points and 4.3 rebounds a game, while shooting 71% from the field for the Aggies.

Before last season, Garry spent two seasons at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, appearing in 67 games with 61 starts. He earned back-to-back all-Southland Conference first team honors while leading the Islanders to a pair of 20-plus win campaigns, averaging 14.9 points and 7.7 rebounds, leading the team in both categories. He also led the conference in field goal percentage, making 54.9 percent (207-of-377) of his tries from the field.

Strong Start for Okert

Pro Agents’ pitcher Steven Okert is off to another strong start for the Houston Astros.

Okert has appeared in 10 of the Astros’ 22 games, compiling eight strikeouts in 10 innings.  He is pitching to a 3.60 ERA, with a WHIP of 0.90, well below the league average of 1.30.

While he’s not on the mound, Steven enjoys time with his wife and dogs, as “Intentional Talk” showcased during one of its shows:
